About Salesforce

Salesforce, in short.

Salesforce is the enterprise CRM: deeply customizable, sold per user in editions, and usually set up and run by an admin or a partner.

What Salesforce is good at

  • Heavy customization for large organizations with admins to run it
  • AppExchange, complex territories and enterprise compliance programs
  • A standard across many large companies and departments

Where teams hit limits

  • Priced per user in editions, with capabilities like CPQ sold as add-ons
  • Changes usually wait for an admin or a partner
  • Its hosted MCP servers for Claude and ChatGPT need Enterprise Edition or above
Why teams switch

Why Salesforce teams switch to Capable.

Priced per user, in editions

Salesforce is sold per user, with capabilities like CPQ as add-ons. Capable has unlimited seats and one plan with every feature.

Built to be configured by an admin

Salesforce is usually set up and maintained by an admin or a partner. Capable is set up by signing in, and your schema stays editable by your own admins.

Run from your AI assistant

Your team can read and update Capable from Claude or ChatGPT, or use the web app. You approve every change the assistant proposes.

How it works

How a switch from Salesforce works.

A switch in four steps

What usually goes wrong, and what we do about it

Data that doesn't map cleanly
We map every field with you before anything moves, and you approve the mapping.
Losing history
Notes, tasks and logged activity come with you with their original dates, so the timeline on each deal stays intact.
The team doesn't adopt it
The pilot runs on real work next to your old CRM. If it doesn't stick, you haven't lost anything.
Getting stuck in a contract
Run the pilot now and switch when your contract ends.

Questions

Switching questions.

Still have a question? Talk to us →

Will our Salesforce automation move too?

No. Flows, custom code, layouts and reports are not recreated by the move. We review the ones your team depends on in your switching plan and agree what to rebuild, replace or leave behind.

Do I have to cancel my old CRM first?

No. The pilot runs next to it, and we make the switch once your team is working in Capable. You cancel the old CRM on your own schedule.

How much does switching cost?

The move and the pilot are free. You start paying your normal Capable plan when you switch.

How long does it take?

It depends on how much data and setup you have. You get an estimate in your switching plan after the intro call.

What happens to our history?

Notes, tasks and logged calls, emails and meetings come with you as activity on the right records, with their original dates. Files, the full text of emails and anything your export doesn't contain are planned with you in your switching plan.

Will my team have to learn a new tool?

They can keep working through Claude or ChatGPT, or use Capable's web app.
