Capable vs Salesforce.

Salesforce is the enterprise standard: deeply customizable, sold per user in editions, with capabilities like CPQ sold as add-ons and usually set up by an admin or partner. Capable is one plan with every feature, set up by signing in, run from Claude or ChatGPT, with unlimited seats.

An honest choice

Which one fits you.

Choose Salesforce if

  • You are a large organization with admins to build and run a heavily customized CRM.
  • You need Salesforce's AppExchange, complex territories or enterprise compliance programs.
  • Your company already standardizes on Salesforce across departments.

Choose Capable if

  • You are a founder or a small team and want to be set up today, without a partner.
  • Your team already works in Claude or ChatGPT and wants the CRM there.
  • You want every change your assistant makes approved field by field before it is written.
  • You want quotes, sequences and reports without moving up a tier to get them.
Switching

Moving from Salesforce.

Export your Salesforce accounts, contacts, leads and opportunities as CSV and import them yourself in Capable's settings: map the fields, preview what will be created, then import. Nothing conflicting is overwritten. Automation, custom code and layouts need their own plan; we can help.

Questions

Capable vs Salesforce: questions.

Still have a question? Talk to us →

Is Capable cheaper than Salesforce?

Yes, for small teams. A 10-person team with 40 active accounts pays $489.60 a year on Capable, against $3,000 on Starter Suite or $12,000 on Pro Suite at annual list prices (September 2026), before add-ons or implementation.

Does Capable charge extra for quotes?

No. Capable has one plan, and quotes are part of it: your assistant picks products from your catalog and the server prices the quote. Salesforce sells CPQ as a separate add-on.

Can I move from Salesforce to Capable?

Yes. Workspace admins can import Salesforce CSV exports themselves, with field mapping and a preview before anything is created. Automation, custom code and layouts are not recreated by an import; we can help plan those.

Is Capable built for enterprises?

Capable is built for founders and small B2B teams, typically under 20 people selling. For organizations rolling out across offices, see Capable for organizations.
