What counts as a contact?
A contact is a person you’ve added to your CRM — not every email address Capable scans. Importing your inbox and calendar surfaces the people you actually work with; only the ones you keep count toward your plan. Companies, notes, and activity don’t count — just people.
Is the limit per person or per workspace?
Per workspace. Your whole team shares one contacts limit, and seats are always unlimited and free. You’re never charged per person, so adding a teammate never changes your bill.
Do extra seats cost more?
No. Every paid plan includes unlimited seats at no extra cost — invite the whole team. You pay one flat price per plan, metered on contacts, not on the number of people using Capable.
What happens when I hit the contacts cap?
Nothing breaks. Your data stays intact and fully readable — you’re simply prompted to move up a plan to add more contacts. You can archive contacts you no longer work to stay under the cap, or upgrade in one click. We’ll never delete your records.
Can I export my data?
Yes — anytime, to CSV. You own your data: no lock-in, no hostage negotiation, no waiting on a support ticket. Export the whole workspace whenever you like.
Do I need a Claude account?
Yes. Capable runs as a connector inside Claude — that’s the whole point: your CRM lives in the chat you already keep open. Anthropic’s paid plans include connector support; check with Anthropic for current free-tier availability.
