This Cookie Policy explains how Capable Agents AB ("Capable", "we") uses cookies and similar technologies. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
Scope: the logged-in app is cookieless
The logged-in Capable application does not use cookies or local storage for analytics. In-product analytics (PostHog) is initialised with in-memory persistence, so it sets no analytics cookie. Identity for analytics comes from your authenticated session, not a cookie. Because the app is cookieless, there is no cookie-consent banner inside the app.
This Cookie Policy therefore primarily covers our marketing website, plus the small set of strictly necessary mechanisms the app needs to function.
1. In-app (cookieless)
- Strictly necessary functioning. The app uses the minimum mechanisms required for authentication and session management. These are essential to deliver the Service you request and do not require consent.
- Product analytics — cookieless, legitimate interest, opt-out. We process metadata-minimized usage signals on the basis of legitimate interests, with no cookie or local storage. You can opt out at any time at Settings → You; your preference is stored server-side so it persists across sessions and devices. We keep a durable, metadata-only consent record of analytics decisions (a
consent_eventslog), stamped with our current consent policy version. No Customer Data is ever placed in cookies or in that record.
2. Marketing website
Our separate marketing website (e.g. capable.run) uses:
- Essential cookies — required for the site to function and to remember your consent choices. These do not require consent.
- Analytics / performance cookies — to understand site usage. Where required by law, these are set only after you consent via the website's cookie banner, and you can withdraw consent at any time.
The marketing website is operated as a separate surface and presents its own cookie banner. We do not use cookies for cross-context behavioural advertising.

4. Managing your choices
- In-app analytics: opt out at Settings → You.
- Marketing-website cookies: use the cookie banner / preferences control on the website, or your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Blocking essential cookies may break parts of the website.
5. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy. We will post the updated version with a new effective date and version, and — where a change materially affects analytics consent — bump our consent policy version.
